Many of us have been there: that point in a relationship when things are going downhill fast. It’s a time when we’re discovering things about ourselves that are ugly and that lead to the realization that we’re with the wrong person. We become increasingly guarded and cynical, seeking validation from our partner to the point where it becomes toxic. This isn’t a healthy or sustainable stage of a relationship, and it’s important to recognize that we’ve entered it in order to exit it.
Lujza’s new single, Do You Wanna Know, accurately depicts what it feels like to be in the midst of a challenging relationship. As she sings, soulful instrumentals move to the rhythm of her voice. The song’s sound is reminiscent of classic Motown artists like Marvin Gaye, but also takes influence from more contemporary artists.
