There’s a new song out that’s shaking up the way we think about life. Agnes Hustler’s Detonate introduces the theory that we’re all living in a Matrix. If you’re wondering what that means, let me break it down for you. Agnes holds that everything in the world – including our physical reality – is actually just an illusion. She invites us to critically examine everything we know and to see things from a different perspective.
But how does Agnes get all this insight? This is a question that’s likely on many people’s minds. I believe the answer is quite simple. Agnes is the one who coded the Matrix. This means that she has access to all the information that’s stored within it and can delete it at any time.
The production on Detonate is fabulous. It’s packed with energy, starting with the jumpy synth line and continuing with the hard-hitting drums. The track aims to get you out of your seat, and it definitely succeeds in doing so.
