In Better Luck Next Time, British singer-songwriter Maya Yenn offers a disturbing glimpse into our possible future where humans no longer care about each other, and instead only focus on their own selfish interests.
The lyrics of the song are written from the perspective of a young man who has prioritized his career above everything else. He’s so focused on his work that he’s oblivious to the fact that his plane is going down.
It’s easy to get so caught up in our daily tasks that we lose sight of what’s really important, but it’s never too late to change that. Remember to enjoy the little things and to spend some time with others. That’s what will make you happy in the long run.
