After watching England play an amazing football match last year, Bebe Barry’s boyfriend at the time decided to take her outside (of her dad’s pub) and break up with her. She remembers him saying to her at the time that at least she would get a great song out of it. Little did he know how literal his words would be!
Devastated by the breakup, Bebe turned to songwriting as a way to process her emotions. The result is her new single, Dumped at the Quarters, available now. The lyrics are brutally honest and provide a great insight into the thoughts and emotions of someone who’s just been dumped. But they’re also infused with Bebe’s trademark sense of humor, which makes them fun to listen to as well.
