Call me by my name; I feel electric: The anthemic line from LA-based alt-pop trio Hablot Brown’s latest single, Electric. The last song released before the drop of their debut self-titled album, Electric is a feel-good track marking the band’s propensity for producing summertime hits. The single brings you hazy visions of dancing on the beach hoping to catch your crush’s eye. It’s hot and sticky and all that you can think about is how badly you want to “dive in” with them. We all remember how it feels to be consumed by love. You feel as if you’re floating every time that special someone says your name. The members of Hablot Brown recreate this feeling well with a blend of layered vocals, easy-going drums, and groovy guitar riffs.
