There are so many interesting things going on in Poster Child’s latest single I Need Your Love that it’s hard to know where to start! But let’s begin with the musical landscape. The funky production sounds like it comes straight from the 60s, and it’s all thanks to the use of vintage instruments and effects.
The guitar riffs are fun and upbeat, and the drums and basslines are walking all over each other in a way that’s truly hypnotic. It’s this clash of rhythms and styles that gives the song such a dynamic feel!
Theresa (lead singer of Poster Child) sings magnificently here. She has such a powerful voice that can go from hazy and expressive to ethereal and serene in the blink of an eye. We think you’ll find it interesting.
