When life throws obstacles in your way, you may worry that you’ll never be okay again. Jenna Soroka, the artist behind I Wanna Be Ok, knows this feeling all too well.
The song was written by Jenna in response to watching a video of someone asking the question, “if you could be okay when things didn’t work out?” The lyrics describe the feeling of hopelessness and despair that comes from not being able to move forward.
But I Wanna Be Ok, isn’t all doom and gloom. It also has a message of optimism, letting us know that better days are just around the corner. And that’s why it’s such an inspirational song—because it speaks to the heart.
Jenna’s hope is that by sharing her story, she can help others feel more empowered to find a way through their darkness.
