It’s a big decision to share your whole self with someone. The good and the bad. All your hopes and fears. Because what if they don’t like what they see? Putting yourself out there like that takes courage, but it’s also incredibly liberating.

When you share your whole self with someone, you’re really giving them permission to do the same. It’s a mutual understanding that says, “I trust you enough to show you my imperfections, and I hope you can do the same for me.”

Simone Elisa’s new song, Chaos, talks about being yourself in a relationship and the insecurities it brings. She’s honest and open about her struggles, which makes the lyrics very personal.

The production on Chaos is really something different. It highlights both vulnerability and strength in equal measure. The synth surges on the chorus are epic and inspire you to reach for the stars, while the halting silence that follows makes you feel all the emotions. And of course, the 90’s inspired drums and vocal stacks add just the right amount of nostalgia.
