Breakups can be incredibly difficult. No matter how we try to prepare for them, they always seem to take us by surprise. And the aftermath is always a mess. Emotions are all over the place, and we can’t seem to understand what’s going on.

That’s why it’s important to take the time to heal after a breakup. You need to give yourself time to mourn the relationship that’s ended. You need to let yourself feel the pain that’s been inflicted.

It’s not going to be easy. But it’s necessary. And eventually, you’ll find your way back to yourself. You’ll start to feel better. You’ll begin to think about the future again. And you’ll be ready to move on.

RobinAugust’s new song, Didn’t Even Cry,¬†captures the feeling of being devastated after a breakup. There’s a sense of disbelief that things could have gone so wrong, and a sense of loneliness and isolation that comes with being suddenly cut off from the person you love.

I think Didn’t Even Cry is so powerful because it’s so honest. It doesn’t try to sugarcoat the pain of a breakup, but instead acknowledges the hurt that we feel after one. RobinAugust lets us know that we’re not alone in our pain, and that it’s okay to feel sad sometimes.

I like the instrumental in this song. It’s like the guitar is a shoulder to cry on, someone who’s there for you when you need them. And when the song ends, it’s like you’ve finally been able to let go of all those emotions and just breathe.
