You and your partner go on a perfect night drive. The city is aglow with neon and you take in the spectacular view, holding hands and feeling closer than ever. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse on the way back. You start arguing, and before you know it, the night that was supposed to be so memorable is ruined.
Jenna Marie’s new single, The Drive, tells this story of a couple’s night drive gone wrong. It was inspired by the fact that our minds tend to remember more bad memories than good ones. While this may be an unfortunate reality, it’s important to remember that bad memories don’t have to define us. We can learn and grow from them, and they don’t have to haunt us forever.
I really like the production on this song. You feel the emotion, but it doesn’t overwhelm you. Jenna’s mesmerizing vocals flow effortlessly and envelop you in their pristine elegance.
