When I heard Zoe Guigueno’s new single Queen of My Domain a few days ago, I was blown away. I could feel the love and admiration she has for her aunt, someone who’s fiercely determined.
The song talks about Zoe’s aunt’s quest to be 100% independent. In order to get to where she’s now, she had to overcome a lot of obstacles. Currently, she works as a truck driver in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
I think the song is a tribute to all the strong women around the world. These women truly make a difference. They remain committed to their beliefs, no matter what anyone says.
Thank you, Zoe, for writing such an empowering song. It’s fascinating and inspiring, and it has the ability to make a positive impact on our lives.
