It’s easy to get wrapped up in our own egos. We want to be the best, we want to be recognized, and we want to be in charge. But all of this comes at a cost.
In fact, it’s our egos that often prevent us from learning and growing as people. We become so attached to our own views that we’re unwilling to see things from a different perspective. We get defensive, and we close ourselves off from new information.
The key to overcoming this is humility. We need to be humble enough to admit that we don’t know everything, that we can learn from others, and that we’re not always right.
Louie Elser’s latest single, Egoless, is all about the importance of humility and ego death. The lyrics are insightful, giving you a deeper understanding of how life works in the end.
