They’ve become an indispensable part of your life, making it hard to end the connection.
Alnev’s new single, drugs, is based on a friendship that deteriorated over time. Despite having never done drugs, he felt the friendship had a similar intensity to taking them. The lyrics are heartfelt and will relate to many people, I believe.
drugs features superb production. The rain and hospital sounds give the song a feeling of melancholy, while the harmonies and soaring bass create a feeling of yearning.
