Sadie Mustoe’s new single, Midnight, explores her feelings of loneliness while offering a glimmer of optimism. She wishes that the person she falls for will love her back, so her journey doesn’t have to be a solo one. The lyrics are depthful, and they’re easy to understand.
Midnight features fantastic guitar melodies with enough drive to match Sadie’s powerful voice. She sings passionately and puts emphasis on each note, giving the performance a much more emotional quality. I particularly like how Sadie goes all out during the bridge.
In my opinion, Midnight is one of the most surprising releases of 2022. There’s just something about it that other tracks don’t have. That’s what makes it really special. Go check out the song below!
