Rosscoe Frantz is a singer-songwriter trying to uncover meaning through the acutely uncomfortable experience of being human. He releases his new single Raw and Bitter. It talks about the hardest version of love, not the sort that ends badly, but the sort that simply doesn’t align.
I’m impressed by the production here. Softly strummed guitar opens the track, before the arrangement gradually takes shape, with percussion and lead guitar easing in. Frantz’s vocals cut through the haze to reveal rich emotion.
For someone who has already shared stages with Sarah Blasko, Boy and Bear, and Pete Murray, sold out his EP launch in Perth, and landed on both Spotify and Apple Music playlists, Raw and Bitter feels like a significant next step. Check it out below!
