Laken Lambson’s new single, Living when I’m crying, is about romanticizing the strange, almost euphoric aliveness that creeps in during an emotional breakdown. The way falling apart can feel, somehow, like the most present you’ve been in weeks. It’s something that most people keep to themselves. Lambson wrote a whole song about it instead.
I love the production here. It features an electronic bedroom pop production accompanied by a manic dreamgirl energy. The vocals are convincing all the way throughout.
