Singer-songwriter and guitarist Sarah Michelle recently released her new single, novocain. It features hypnotic guitars and drums that will leave you spellbound. My favorite part begins around 0:50, when the sound really starts to change. Sarah lays great emphasis on the lyrics with her vulnerable vocals. It’s clear that she’s giving everything she’s got.
Sarah created novocain out of frustration born from fighting anxiety her entire life. Getting ready to start college at Berklee intensified the struggle. All her dreams were finally coming true – but unfortunately, the excitement soon changed into fear. This song gave Sarah the strength to control her anxiety and pursue the life she has always dreamed of.
