Dasha Novotny, simply known as Dasha, is anything but a people-pleaser. At 22, this singer/songwriter isn’t only a master of her craft, but also speaks her mind without hesitation. Her independent spirit and raw aura are undoubtedly the reasons why her music can be so easily related to.
Dasha’s debut album, Dirty Blonde, arrived last week and features plenty of potential hits. One of the standouts is Make A Scene, which has some relatable lyrics. The accompanying instrumental shouldn’t be overlooked either, as the cohesion between its elements is really impressive.
The singer-songwriter wrote Make A Scene with The Gifted in Los Angeles, and when she came home that night, she listened back to the demo and knew it would be a key part of her first record.
