After studying music in Manchester, R&B singer-songwriter Frankie Jobling returned to her native North East to further refine her sound. She recently released a new single titled Where Do You Go When You Go Quiet. Its build-up is amazing; it starts very quiet and becomes more and more lively as it progresses. Guitars, keys, and contemporary synthesizers are featured, along with a classic neo-soul groove on drums and bass.
Where Do You Go When You Go Quiet depicts the feeling of being detached from the world when you suffer from mental health problems. The lyrics are cleverly written, and have great relevance in today’s political and financial climate.
