The hypnotic new single Evil is the result of Natalie’s talent as an anti-genre producer, songwriter, and vocalist. It has some unusual drums, which complement the driving bassline quite well. The vocals are powerful and jump between notes smoothly.
Evil‘s lyrics portray sapphic desires as sinful, almost from a demonic perspective, mocking societal norms. The manner in which Natalie addresses the song’s subject matter really stands out to me.
I think Evil can be considered magnificent on all levels. There aren’t many songs like it out there. Listen below!
