Singer-songwriter Justine Griffin releases her new single, I’m Trying. It features catchy guitar melodies and a solid pop beat that energizes the sound. The vocals are smooth and help the lyrics to come across clearly.
The song was written in Griffin’s car a few years ago as she lived with a lot of roommates. She wanted to describe a relationship that continues to be strong despite countless disappointments and setbacks. To her, the lyrics refer to the idea of trying to convince yourself that there’s anything salvageable left or that the offenses didn’t take place.
I’m trying is one of the coolest songs I’ve listened to lately; it’s got so many intriguing aspects. Check it out below!
