Now & Then has heartfelt vocals that flow smoothly from line to line. The piano performance is stunning and carries the sound forward in a powerful way. There are also some catchy melodies on the guitar that are sure to catch your attention.
The lyrics of Now & Then depict Nicole’s experience of running into an ex. For that reason, she wanted the video to feel sincere. It aims to convey the same feelings you get when you encounter a person you used to care about. To give the viewer a clear picture of the place where the story takes place, the video was made locally, in Alliston Ontario, where Nicole lives.
