In the beginning of the year, Alyssa Darby, who’s from Richmond, Virginia, started out as a singer. Her debut single, INSANE, meets all the criteria of a good pop song. Its instrumental, for example, is amazing and drives the sound forward with elegance. I appreciate how the vocals wrap around the musical backdrop, adding excitement.
INSANE was written by Alyssa during a breakup when she found it hard not to think about her ex-boyfriend. She wanted to convey the feeling of having someone occupy your thoughts.
