Singer-songwriter Lotti releases her new single, Not Bad After All. Musically, it’s simply amazing. I really enjoy the piano arrangement here. There are also some beautifully textured drums that add tension to the atmosphere. The vocals overflow with emotion.
Lotti wrote Not Bad After All in response to her parents’ divorce. It describes what happened after her dad left the house. Lotti watched her mom fold her own clothes and place them where her dad’s clothes were. She noticed right there how her mother started seeing herself and taking up space. Even just by putting her clothes where his clothes were.
