Elizabeth Evans moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2019 to pursue a degree in songwriting at Belmont University’s Curb College of Entertainment & Music Business. She recently shared her new anthem, her skeleton. It’s defined by cool guitar elements and drumming, which contribute to the power of the soundscape. I appreciate the way the tension is built here, with the various builds-up. Elizabeth’s voice fits well with the organic background, in my opinion.
This song illuminates heartbreak and infidelity from a different perspective. Elizabeth wrote it with producer Gus Ciardiello to comfort anyone who has fallen victim to someone with secrets. You can be sure that will happen.
