The vocals are well-balanced, but they can also go in unexpected directions sometimes, which makes them even more intriguing.
Baby It’s Me revolves around being the loyal best friend who always gets overlooked, when the guy you like always falls in love with the wrong girl, and feeling alone and sad because of it. In the song, she sees her crush with another girl at the party, and it kills her. She’s angry, upset, hurt, and hopeless.
