Carla Chanelle’s alt-pop universe can be described as bubbly and soft. Bleu et blanc is the follow up to her highly impressive EP, Sur Nous Jounes. This song mixes warm acoustic guitar tones with groovy basslines, providing a sound that you’ll surely enjoy. The vocals here are consistently strong, causing them to become memorable. I’d also like to mention that there’s a good contrast between the verses and chorus energy-wise; it keeps things fresh.
Bleu et blanc tells the story of dreams that are finally coming true and the hope of a better future. It was produced by Jacob Lafrance. Christophe Charest-Latif also contributed as a consultant and creative contributor.
