The 21-year-old Abby Lokelani is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and cellist. Her latest single, Heaven and Hell, has unique piano accompaniment. There are also some lush strings in the verses and an irresistible pulse in the chorus. The song’s sound reminds me of Lana Del Rey, which is good. I appreciate Abby’s vocals because they’ve soulfulness to them.
Heaven and Hell explains what it’s like to go through battles in our lives. Abby’s ability to express herself in such a thorough manner is simply phenomenal, and she deserves a lot of credit for that. Definitely next level.
