21-year-old, Nashville-based singer and songwriter Caroline Romano releases her new single, This House, off her upcoming EP, A Brief Epic. It has slow-burning rock instrumentation that intensifies with each passing minute. I’m particularly fond of the chorus here because it’s so convincing, making me want to hear more. Caroline shines vocally.
This House explores the self-inflicted bruises that come with trying to make something work that never will. It’s about wanting someone to see you a certain way, but always feeling like they see right through you.
