With her fiery, playful pop sound, New York-based artist Rachel Bochner has made some serious waves since making her debut in 2020. Here For The Drama is an anthem that you can’t help but shout loud and proud. It features distorted guitars, which are the perfect match for the sweet vocals. I really enjoy the dramatic feel of the chorus, it really ties everything together.
Rachel wrote Here For The Drama to remind people that when life gets messy, it’s best to embrace it, lean in, and enjoy the show. From questionable decisions like texts we wish we could undo, to the round of tequila shots nobody needed, it’s a song about youth and stupidity. The lyrics make so much sense, especially if you’re in your twenties.
