One of the most promising pop artists in Atlantic Canada is Rachel Cousins. She recently shared her new single, Hell & High Water. It has some excellent guitar and piano elements. I also admire the clarity of Rachel’s vocals, she conveys each line so convincingly.
It seems like this song is a letter written to someone who just fell in love and is bothered by the past. Rachel offers advice on letting go of past relationship ghosts so that you can move forward. The lyrics provide so much comfort, leading you back into the light.
