Austrian singer-songwriter ANDA releases debut single, Mermaid Ballade. Her wistful vocals flow over you as she sings and melt into your heart like butter on a toasted bagel. The lush string instrumentation provides a backdrop of sentimental nostalgia, giving the illusion of being in a ballroom aglow with candlelight where masked dancers spin and twirl. Yet beneath the surface bubbles an undercurrent of disappointment in the mermaid’s unattainable dream.
