Hamburg born, London based singer, songwriter & producer Anin Rose creates gospel-infused pop songs. Her latest release, Carsick, is melodically rich. It features some amazing guitar work, for example, which leads the sound in a multitude of directions. Especially when the solo begins, the music becomes so captivating. Anin’s vocal abilities are expectational.
Carsick revolves around the theme of loving, but letting go. The lyrics seem to be written in a cynical manner (“You stop and you start oh inside I’m, trying to work out are these butterflies or warning lights”), and highlight Anin’s self-awareness.
