Toronto-based Métis pop artist Indigo V is right in her element within the R&B genre. She recently released Don’t Play, a track about not underestimating your own worth and choosing yourself when no one else will. It remains amazing how the lyrics try to inspire you.
The production on Don’t Play sounds spot-on; I love the punchy beat and the wavy piano lines. The vocals aren’t only soulful but also so convincing.
