Talented singer-songwriters Namelle and Danny Baldursson met at a music conference in Los Angeles and decided to write together. Sunset at the Blvd ended up being the result.
The song is all about escaping worries and responsibilities, even if only temporarily. The lyrics paint a picture of watching the sun go down while enjoying the warm hues painting the sky and pleasant weather. The pulsing guitar melodies and rhythmic flow of the music reinforce this sense of being lost in the moment. I like the way the vocal movement adds to the vibe.
