Emerging singer-songwriter April Jai releases her cover of Katy Perry’s 2008 hit, I Kissed A Girl. A smooth, dreamy indie arrangement keeps things balanced. The vocals blend naturally with the backdrop, forming harmony.
In all honesty, I prefer this version over the original. Musically, it seems more timeless to me. April did a great job of adding her own touch. You’ll imagine yourself standing on the shoreline watching the waves swirl while you listen to this. That sounds perfect, doesn’t it?
