Oliver Ciao’s third single Eyes On You tells the tale of an all-consuming attraction and infatuation. He portrays what it means to be unable to look away from someone, as if under a spell. The pull is so strong that he would fight a guy three times his size just to keep her near. All logic and caution are thrown out the window in the wake of this lightning strike of desire.
The familiar blend of bass, guitar gives Eyes On You an organic, earthy vibe that Ciao’s fans have come to know and love. However, the addition of warm electric piano adds an additional layer of complexity. The sampled drum groove chugs along steadily, providing a solid yet unobtrusive rhythmic foundation for the wandering melodies above.
