Canadian singer-songwriter Victoria Carbol releases her new single, Citadel. It has catchy cinematic synth melodies that swirl wonderfully and give the production one of its distinct features. The chorus kicks in well, capturing your attention and immersing you in a different world as soon as you start listening.
Citadel explores queer heartbreak and spiritual trauma from the perspective of LGBT people. The lyrics are excellent and deserve recognition for being so heartfelt.
