Christee Palace’s new single I Don’t Like My Friends captures the frustration of feeling alone even when surrounded by people. She struggled to trust her closest friends. On the surface, they acted supportive and claimed to want the best for her. But Christee sensed they were disingenuous, judging her behind her back while pretending to praise her. Their two-faced behavior left Christee isolated and apprehensive about letting her guard down around anyone.
I Don’t Like My Friends features splendid guitar melodies. There’s also some epic drumming that helps to build tension. Palace’s vocals rock, she performs incredibly well.
