Singer-songwriter Mercee releases her new single, Katchi. It reminds me of María José Llergo somehow, with its mix of traditional and pop sounds. As for the chorus and the bridge, they both sound exceptional. The vocals have been mixed so well that every detail can be heard.
In Katchi, inner strength plays a prominent role while the collision of two worlds is reflected. The first line of the lyrics explains it nicely: “I’ll stay here even if they aim at me because my parents taught me.”
