Last August, rising singer-songwriter Julia Elkaim released her single Lore of Love. It reflects a lot of musicality with its bright indie pop instrumentation. The vocals are amazing, ebbing and flowing over the melody. The chorus is a bit more forceful than the verses, which creates a cool contrast.
The song’s lyrics are based on the myth of Eros and Psyche, the original soulmates. Julia reveals that she’s totally in love with someone, and gives you a glimpse into her mind.
