Singer-songwriter Ana Galeli releases her new single, Take It Slow. It draws inspiration from her visit to Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris, where she visited Jim Morrison’s grave. This poignant experience sparked lyrics about mortality and living while we have the chance. As Ana states, ”None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but an end is certain. So while we have this moment, now – why not spend time with time.”
Take It Slow sounds amazing. Its melody ebbs and flows, giving it an atmospheric quality reminiscent of synth rock. Soft, layered harmonies evoke contemplation as Galeli’s vocals glide over the instrumentation. There’s a bent towards the cinematic in the song’s mood.
