Last November, French singer-songwriter Cyrène released Superficielle. Its title translates to “superficial” in English. Cyrène shares her quest to accept herself, from who she was in the past to who she wants to become. She recognizes the pressure to appear a certain way to feel beautiful, even if it’s not natural or realistic.
Sonically, Superficielle masterfully intertwines synthetic and natural elements to deliver an entrancing melodic foundation. This includes the presence of strings. The vocals sound fabulous, setting the vibe quite easily. Start listening below!
