Oxygyn, an indie-pop band based in Malta, makes music that matters. Their latest single Cloudmaker, comes at the right time. It features great guitar melodies that at times are accompanied by steadily pulsing electronic beats. The vocals, beautifully sung, act as the driving force here, propelling the song forward with their enthralling quality.
Though Cloudmaker may not reach cinematic or dynamic extremes, it maintains a momentum sufficient to keep your thoughts swaying between the notes. Oxygyn shows off their unique style with an impressive level of finesse.
