Tinsley is a Seattle-based indie pop singer and songwriter. She shares her new single, Distract Me. It’s punctuated by radiant guitar melodies that scatter light amidst the shadows. The drums pack a punch, lending the necessary momentum to the production. When it comes to vocals, Tinsley puts forth an all-out performance.
Distract Me explores the theme of using romantic relationships as a form of self-destruction. Throughout, Tinsley candidly sings about her indifference towards the potential negative impact of a relationship, as long as it serves as a distraction.
