London-based singer-songwriter Molly Wishart releases her new single Running Free. Written during a period of personal and artistic growth, the song expresses the feeling of stepping outside your comfort zone and diving into uncertainty. The lyrics are wonderful from start to finish.
Running Free began with an 80s-inspired synth line before transitioning into a fuller, retro-pop sound. I love how everything comes together. Especially, the guitar solo around 2:15 impresses. The vocals sound shiny, making them exceptional.
