UK singer-songwriter Hana Lili releases her new single, Basement. It uses incredible organic instrumentation, which gives the sound exceptional depth. There’s more, however. You’ll also hear some edgy synths in the background. The chorus starts off nicely with its gritty undertone.
Basement explores the theme of trust within relationships. The metaphorical phrase ‘friendly fires in the basement’ implies an innocent but deceitful falsehood that can have devastating consequences.
