Dutch-Suriname artist néomí releases her new single, someone new. It’s laced with bubbly pop melodies that flutter like butterflies on a gray Spring day. A dreamlike feeling is conveyed by the vocals, especially when layers are used.
Basically, someone new is a love letter to néomí’s therapist. At first, she hated being placed in a category she didn’t fit into. Since those first encounters things have changed. néomí is grateful for the knowledge she gained about life and herself.
