Singer-songwriter Kinga Angelys has been realizing music with a cause since 2019. She freshly released her new single, Running on Empty. Its lyrics fulfill our hopes. Interested in what they debate? Well, we’ll go over it extensively. Kinga talks about the phenomena of reaching a breaking point in everyday life, due to the demands of work, school, and social life. Sometimes it’s just too much. We’re only humans after all. Why do we always need to do better? The one who decided that probably wasn’t aware of the consequences. It’s true that life has its beauty, but it’s also true that it can be demanding. So taking a step back isn’t wrong. Think of it from the perspective of growth.
By using acoustic guitar, ukulele, and a silky beat, Running on Empty remains stable melodically. The vocals, influenced slightly by Shakira, resemble water flowing downhill on a bright spring day. They somehow calm you down, just like the chorus. Generally speaking, this song is meditative.
