Irish singer-songwriter Miranda Faul is based in Dublin. She shares the acoustic version of Not Much Of A Man. It has slow, momentous guitar melodies that breathe the warmth of the sun into the cold. While the keys add texture, they also garnish the sound. Faul goes for a vocal approach that’s difficult to find elsewhere.
Not Much Of A Man is about having a silent but unspoken desire for someone who isn’t available. However, both of you can feel the chemistry between you. Ultimately, this leads to frustration, since you want to make the other person do something.
